Company History

Regency Credit is a family owned and managed receivables management and collections organization that was born out of a long family history of competitive performance and the highest quality of service in the industry. Jess Schwartz, founder and owner of American Creditors Bureau (ACB) for 47 years, sold the company with approximately 1500 employees and $1.5 billion in annual placements to First Data Corporation in 1993.

Today, Jess’s family continues the commitment to the collection industry with the same high standards and strong commitment to service and compliance.

Our reputation as a cost effective, highly ethical collection agency is attributable to a number of factors including our collection philosophy, training and computer resources. Regency Credit’s senior management staff combines over 100 years of commitment and experience in the field. Most importantly, our success is the direct result of our highly motivated and experienced staff.

All accounts are worked through an on-line collection system developed and supported by a network of in-house terminals.
